Community Charities
As part of our vision to create ‘Global citizens for the future’, throughout the year we take part in fundraising activities to support our St Clements Community Charities. The following list of charities have been nominated by members of our community: children, teachers and families. The list consists of charities that are important to members of our community due to their own experience, culture or values.
How it works
Each charity is numbered, and following school fundraising events, we allocate a donation of approximately £100 - £150 to a charity by using a random generator, which is shown in assembly. Following the charity selection, where possible, we arrange for representatives of the charities to either come to school to receive their donation and to talk to the children or to hold a school assembly regarding the charity and the impact of our donation.
Once selected for a donation, charities are removed from the selection list until all charities have received a donation. Members of the school community can nominate a charity at any point within the school year by completing this form:
